Victress storms past the mighty Maersk Essex, 19 May 2020

On the bright and sunny morning of Tuesday 19 May, general cargo vessel Victress cuts the corner at Beach End, passing outside of the mark at high water. This enables her get ahead of the 366 metre Maersk Essex, and clear the harbour so the bigger vessel has ample space to swing.
