G H Brickfielder sails on Maersk Line’s Port Said shuttle, 15 November 2019

With the 2M consortium (Maersk Line and MSC) suspending their AE2/Swan service for 10 weeks, Maersk have set up a special feeder shuttle for UK customers, bringing in a weekly 2,500/2,800 TEU ship from their Port Said hub.
Having a regular feeder service means that Maersk also can have regular berthing slots at Felixstowe, rather than ad-hoc berths, and therefore offer customers predictable delivery times.
