The 14,855 TEU capacity CMA CGM Theodore Roosevelt has set a new record as the largest capacity ship to pass through the new, wider and longer locks of the Panama Canal. The new record was set on Tuesday as the ship headed for the U.S. East Coast.

The CMA CGM Theodore Roosevelt is 365.9 meters in length and 48.2 meters in beam.
